Chris & Darcie Liddle

We were born and raised in Calloway County. This is home - where we grew up, married, and raised our children (Colby & Tanner). We have a history  that runs deep in farming, raising tobacco, and growing produce. For several years, with the assistance of our moms, we sold tomatoes and produce from our front porch. From there we grew into The Farmers Basket (2019), growing and selling tomatoes, vegetables and flowers. In 2020, Chris’s working tobacco barn was enclosed to include a gift shop. Our farm at Hazel is a working farm, where we grow and raise our flowers and produce. Besides flowers, we grow tomatoes, squash, zucchini, peppers, eggplants, okra, peas, beans, sweet corn, onions, and more.

We expanded with our first location in Murray in 2021, and our second in 2023. Each location has a special place in our business. Visit any one of the three to see for yourself!
